1 . Define
We start by clearly defining the problem. What are we trying to solve—and why does it matter? By understanding the challenge at its root, we’re able to align the project goals with your needs and tailor our process to deliver meaningful results.

2. Research
Once the parameters around the design project have been defined, we research the problem we are trying to solve. We do this by not just researching existing products & solutions, but also by researching the factors which led to a new solution needing to be discovered.

3. Concept
Armed with insight, we begin exploring ideas. These can take the form of quick sketches, early CAD models, or even rough physical prototypes. Our aim here is to ideate widely, test rapidly, and start shaping the future of your product.
This is often the most exciting phase—if you’ve got something brewing, bring it to us.
4. Develop
We refine the strongest concepts into more detailed designs—adding depth without losing agility. This phase may involve advanced CAD modelling, early-stage prototyping, cost estimation, and identifying potential manufacturing or performance challenges early on.

5. Test & Feedback
We believe the best designs are shaped in dialogue. That’s why we involve you—and, where relevant, your end users—throughout development. We test ideas, gather feedback, and use what we learn to improve functionality, user experience and feasibility.

6. Iterate & Optimise
Design isn’t a straight line—it’s a cycle of learning and improving. We take what we’ve learned from testing and feedback, then refine, rework and strengthen the solution. This stage often includes simulation (like FEA), performance improvements, and polishing the design for manufacture—without losing sight of the original intent. The goal? A product that’s not just good, but ready.
