Why do you request feedback and what do you do with it?
Want to know what we do with your feedback and how it helps drive continuous improvement at Form Lab, read on.
So you’ve recently had some interaction with us and now we’re asking you for some feedback. You may be wondering why we do this or if it’s worthy of your time. The short answer is we treat all your feedback like our business depends on it for our survival (because we do) and ultimately want to improve to better understand and exceed your needs.
If you’re interested in specific questions and answers we’ll attempt to address the most common ones we get in the remainder of this post or you can skip to the bottom for details on how to get in touch.
Frequently asked questions and answers
Q: Will you use it for marketing purposes?
A: Only if you agree to it. The final question on the feedback form allows you to specify how the information you provided should be used. There are options to use it for training & marketing purposes, just training purposes, and finally not for training or marketing. We’ll respect these wishes and in the final case will only use it to follow up to see what we can do to make things right.
Q: Do you have any examples of how you’ll use it for marketing purposes?
A: Sure thing. We’re still finding our way in the world of digital marketing, inbound/outbound and social media, but at the moment we may include snippets of your responses on the reviews page of our website. Here’s the link to the page for some past examples https://theformlab.com/reviews
Q: How do you incorporate it into your training?
A: We’re the firsts one’s to admit when we don’t get things quite right (overly so as we’re designers and engineers = perfectionists), and like to ensure we use these scenarios as opportunities to learn and implement safeguards to prevent us from making the same mistakes again. In general, we use these cases as training examples, develop or update procedures to flag or put checks in place and add new requirements to our training and development topics for our people to cover. If you want to learn more about how we approach, manage and implement training at Form Lab, check out our blog post on the subject.
We’ve covered some of the most frequent questions we get asked in relation to feedback and hope this clears the air. Should you have a specific question or think we should add to this list please let us know by email at info@theformlab.com
