Form Lab can help! Our process starts as soon as you get in touch. We'll book you in for an appointment, go through your idea, where you're currently at, and how Form Lab can help take your vision to the next level.
Step 2 - We’ll Get To Work
While we research & create solutions
Once we have discussed your idea with you and how Form Lab can help, we will begin to work through creating ideas and solutions to help move your project forward. We will research the area your design fits in, suitable materials, existing products in that field, and start to create designs & ideas for your product.
Step 3 - Review
Review possible solutions & decide on how to proceed
Once we have compiled a number of different designs and solutions to your design problem, we will be in touch to arrange a follow up meeting. Here we will discuss & review the ideas and designs we have created, to help narrow down the best way forward, and to ensure we are working to a solution which works for you.
Step 4 - Develop
We’ll work towards the final output
Once we have a final design / solution which has been agreed on, we will then go away again and continue working towards the final output. The final output could be anything from renders of final design to a fully manufactured prototype, depending on your requirements. At this point we will carry out a range of design work to ensure the final design is fit for purpose, this could include creating a fully detailed 3D CAD model, technical drawings, or even FEA simulations of the final product.
